“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.” – Edgar Degas
Fashion and photography are my choice forms of art. From the moment we get dressed to the food pictures we snap when we think no one’s looking, apparel and cameras are among the most accessible mediums we have. But it’s up to the artist to compose the visuals that tell the story, otherwise outfits are just pieces of material and photos just millions of pixels.
The story behind my fashion in my photo adventure with LupePhoto from Part 1 and 2 was a tribute to my parents of whom I greatly admire. The fur in the photos belongs to my mother and the letterman a memento from my dad’s cross country days. The final photos are a tribute to my hometown where Westheimer will always be my point of reference.
