As fashion week gears up in New York City, Houston held its own soiree at the Wortham Center for the 5th Annual reNew and reDux Fashion Show benefitting The Women’s Home. The chic event transformed the Wortham Center into a fashion show venue and vintage pop-up shop. The show featured high-end designer clothing and accessories from the Women’s Home resale boutique as well as donated items from the sharpest dressed women in Houston.
Looks of the night varied from elegant evening themes to the colors and textures of Autumn that include layers of bold oranges and furs. From Oscar de la Renta to Chanel, the designer labels of each ensemble fueled the audiences’ energy. Straight from the runway to the racks, guests were invited to shop looks immediately after the show. Proceeds of the evening’s sales support The Home’s mission of helping women in crisis regain their self-esteem and dignity, empowering them to return to society as productive, self-sufficient individuals.
