Photo Adventure with LupePhoto – Part 2

“Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.” – Edgar Degas

Cross Country

Fashion and photography are my choice forms of art. From the moment we get dressed to the food pictures we snap when we think no one’s looking, apparel and cameras are among the most accessible mediums we have. But it’s up to the artist to compose the visuals that tell the story, otherwise outfits are just pieces of material and photos just millions of pixels.

WestheimerThe story behind my fashion in my photo adventure with LupePhoto from Part 1 and 2 was a tribute to my parents of whom I greatly admire. The fur in the photos belongs to my mother and the letterman a memento from my dad’s cross country days. The final photos are a tribute to my hometown where Westheimer will always be my point of reference.

AU REVOIR 2014. Why hello there 2015.

2014 in a nutshell. It feels as though I just bid farewell to 2013 and here I am, saying goodbye again. 2014 was spent with friends I grew up with and family who watched me grow. This year was a yellow brick road of milestones. Milestones, an unspoken reminder of how limited our time is but how very lucky we are to share those moments with the ones we love.

2014, I bid you adieu. 2015, bring it.
