My story

My name is Sarah Pendley and I am the Founder of Sarah Theresa Communications, a full-service communications firm in Austin, Texas. I specialize in helping businesses reach audiences with creative content and authentic storytelling.

Originally from Houston, my love for writing started as soon as I could string sentences together. I was fascinated with the artistry that went into every allegory and metaphor I tailored.

Knowing I wanted to turn my passion into a career, I studied journalism at the University of St. Thomas. It was there that I landed an internship that would change the course of my life forever. I discovered the world of Public Relations and Marketing, a place I could get creative, strategize, and design.

Over 15 years later, I have dedicated my career to lending my voice and concepts to others. From tech to non-profits, hospitality to CPG, I navigated a variety of industries and collected valuable contacts along the way. My Rolodex (remember those days?) is mighty and so are my ideas. Still an avid writer, I have freelanced for a variety of publications that include Forbes and Houstonia Magazine.

I can sincerely say I am doing what I’m meant to do.

When I’m not crafting eloquent prose, I enjoy outdoor adventures and photography with my assistant/dog Charlie Pablo.
