Ripple Reads is a monthly book club that helps families have meaningful, age-appropriate conversations about justice and race. Ripple Reads sought to execute a strategic one-month long public relations campaign for traditional earned-media outreach. I crafted a press release and pitched the non-profit’s launch to local and national media. I significantly increased the organization’s media footprint and established a notable partnership with Motherly.
Squadhelp is the world’s largest platform for naming and branding, helping to build more than 25,000 brands and develop 6 million unique name ideas. I currently ghostwrite articles that have been featured in publications that include Entrepreneur, Crunchbase, and Hubspot. Additionally, I consult on Public Relations strategies on an as-needed basis.
Austin-based startup Verts Mediterranean Grill sought to secure national press that could be added to their investor presentations and pitch decks. I crafted compelling entrepreneurial and growth angles for media as well as pitched the founders as thought-leaders in their industry. Results include securing the CEO on the cover of QSR magazine, positioning the Co-founder as one Forbes 30 Under 30, and earning a prominent feature in Fortune magazine.
Tech startup ShiftMobility sought to enhance their media footprint in order to secure a Wikipedia page, of which they needed seven articles for a page to publish without flags. I crafted angles around the launch of ShiftMobility’s app, fundraising efforts, and CEO, a longtime former Oracle executive, and pitched to relevant media outlets. Results include securing The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, and Success Magazine.
